Thoughts On Christian Dating
I've been a dedicated Christian all of my life, and when it comes to Christian dating people tend to make such a big fuss over us dating other Christians, saying we're too exclusive. It's not that I'm exclusive, but I really want to have someone who understands my devotion and faith - I don't want to find myself in a situation where I have to explain to others that my beliefs are not funny and childish.
I'm glad that I was able to find a great girlfriend and we even go together to church on Sundays (well, not only on Sundays) and enjoy the preaching and Bible messages from our pastor. She shares my view of dating - that it might be too hard to date outside our group if one has a strong faith, because it might interfere in another person's life and that 'other side' will not have enough understanding for our needs and desires when it comes to religion. Christian dating is, as you see, somewhat complicated when it comes to believers and non-believers, but it' is fantastic when two people who have similar or same Christian values come together and love each other.
